Installation of sculptures at Sacramento Children's museum in California

Morris Squire Foundation installs their donated sculptures "Letter C"  & "Wave Chair" outside Sacramento Children’s Museum

“Wave Chair” and “Letter C” were donated & installed outside of the Sacramento Children’s Museum. They scale over 7 & 8 feet tall.

MORRIS B. SQUIRE FOUNDATION has completed installation of the two donated sculptures, outside the Sacramento Children’s museum ( SCM ) . Sharon Stone Smith, the Executive Director of the museum, was pleased to receive the sculpture donation from the non-profit art foundation based in Santa Barbara, CA. “Wave Chair” and “Letter C” are the latest attractions outside the childrens museum, scaling 7 and 8 feet tall. Both constructed from steel rebar and wire frames & concrete frame, these sculptures are hard to miss, painted in bright colors, which are suitable for the children and parents alike. Once the “Wave Chair” was placed on the installation spot, Ariel Campoy, artist assistant of the Morris B. Squire Foundation, stated that children were already jumping on the chair, with parents telling their young ones “be patient & let them finish installing, then you can jump on it”. The child sulked, agreeing with his mother.

Donations and loans of artwork are made possible, to companies, schools, zoos and organizations that don’t immediate funding available, but really want a youthful and inspiring approach to their landscaping, which benefits to them as an additional attraction.
